Together with the fantastic event crew, we’ve brought plenty of visions to life. When we decided together with the client and event planner, to transform our very own Africa Palace in Tervuren into a dazzling Carnaval de Rio oasis for an exclusive private event, we knew we weren’t just throwing a party. We were curating a sensory journey. And what a journey it was. The Africa Palace proved to be the ultimate canvas for a night of tropical escapism.

The Africa Palace is known for its soaring architecture and timeless elegance. But for one night only, we dialed up the heat. We stripped away the ordinary and painted the space in a palette of electric teal, sun-soaked gold, and magenta. As guests arrived, they weren’t just entering a venue, they were crossing a portal. Giant tropical installations, cascading exotic florals, and dramatic lighting design transformed the historic palace walls into a pulsing, living canvas. From the moment guests stepped through the dinner space, the hypnotic, irresistible beat of live samba drums echoed through the halls, making it physically impossible to stand still. Every corner of the venue had a story to tell.

What is Carnaval without a feast? Because we are caterers at heart, we made sure the culinary experience mirrored the spectacle of the night. We paired the visually stunning, high-energy environment with a menu designed to delight. Think vibrant, tropical-infused bites, live-station cooking that brought the sizzle of Brazilian street food to life, and a cocktail program that was as much a performance as it was a refreshment. Our team didn’t just serve food; they served an experience.
